Procès BDS du 17 juin à Paris : Une mobilisation exemplaire

mercredi 8 juin 2011

Merci

Dear Olivia,
This is Moustafa Al Kayyali. It’s been a long time since we were coordinating for Gaza Freedom March 2010, but I’m keeping tune with your updates and activities via your emails.
I’m totally shocked to read this email that declares your being accused of the misdemeanor of provoking hate against group of people. After receiving your email, I’ve surfed the net and reached to this link : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=206021012767451&set=a.201696253199927.41420.140749799294573& type=1&theater,
and I’ve already shared it on my facebook and on some other Pages I administrate. I would love to make you sure that you have my full personal support, as well to my people’s support. I would do whatever it takes to let everybody knows about your appointment on June 17. I’ll follow it up as I really take this very seriously.
Best Regards,
Moustafa de Gaza

To Whom it May Concern
Taking action of the kind that encourages Boycott, Disinvestment and Sanctions of companies or countries as a means to influence their behaviour is a peaceful form of protest action that requires broad contribution to the collective action and leaves open the right of individual choice of all who participate. It represents the healthiest form of expression of active dissent.
I am not informed of French Law but if it is not legal in France then it’s a cause for shame to France, because it certainly should be legal. It would also be foolish and dangerous to deny such forms of protest because the need for expression of protest is essential and without socially acceptable options less palatable options will inevitably emerge.
I write to express the strongest possible condemnation of this action that is clearly intended to persecute Olivia Zemor and impede her efforts to promote the BDS Campaign against Israel.
The behaviour of the state of Israel, since its inception, has become increasingly immoral, illegal and inhuman to the point today when all of the informed world is shocked, appalled and disgusted by it. The state of Israel is engaged in sadistic, criminal violence on a routine and on-going basis. Awareness and understanding of the corrupt web of Zionist influence is also spreading and the action of authorities in France of persecuting supporters of BDS is seen and interpreted in that light, thereby exposing the extent of criminal corruption.
This kind of corrupt, criminal influence runs contrary to all civilised values and clearly, cannot be tolerated.
I urge you to heed the dangers, act with integrity and wisdom and to release Olivia Zemor of all charges, persecutions and impediments immediately.
Yours Sincerely,
Allen L. Jason

Chere Olivia
Justice for Palestine Matters, Australia fully supports your commitment to BDS as a means to bring justice and a sustainable peace to Palestine and Israel.
It is shocking that you are facing court simply for publishing a BDS action on the CAPJPO-EuroPalestine website. It is shocking that France, which is honoured as the first nation to initiate democracy, is in your case violating the hard won civil liberties and democratic rights of the French Revolution.
It is shocking that the fundamental right of freedom of speech is being strangled by the Zionist lobby in France and elsewhere. It is, of course, more shocking that the international community is complicit in endorsing Israel’s impunity to pursue its ’slow-motion genocide’ of the people of Palestine and maintaining Israel’s illegal occupation and illegal colonisation.
As the international community has abrogated its legal obligations to protect Palestinian political, civil and human rights, non-violent BDS actions by the people of the world have taken up those abandoned responsibilities.
We hope that the French judicial system upholds your civil liberties as a French citizen.

Bonjour Olivia,
I was shocked to learn that in a democratic country like France that you unable to make a statement supporting the boycott of Israeli goods, the divestment of interests in Israeli goods and companies profiting from sales to Israel, and calling for sanctions against Israel, without being accused of the misdemeanour of provoking discrimination, hate and violence toward a group of people. As you so rightly explain the BDS campaign is not directed at the Jewish people, it is directed at the government of Israel and its policies. It does not incite hatred or violence toward Jews or the Israeli people. It is not even ’civil disobedience’ as it only calls for the lawful right of citizens to exercise their perogative when purchasing goods, or buying/divesting shares, or when travelling abroad. Please be assured that your case is being watched very carefully by people in other parts of the world whose objectives are similar to your own - a just and lasting peace for Palestinians. I wish you every success in defending the charges made against you at the court hearing on 17 June.
Bonne chance,

Dear Ms Zemor
the Newcastle No War Collective wholly supports BDS actions here and around the world.
Both the communicating news of, as well as carrying out such actions, are the inalienable right of all people.
WE are dismayed that France is casting a shadow on its proud history of supporting liberty by seeking to intimidate you with court action.
We trust that the tribunal will see that a) they are being co-opted into a political issue rather than a matter of justice, and b) that your action far from provoking discrimination, hate and violence actually serves to promote peace for all, consistent with the aims of the boycott.
Without actions such as the boycott Israel campaign, the Palestine people as well as the Israel people face constant warfare.
The Newcastle No War Collective is planning to conduct as well as publish on the web similar actions. The vivacity and seriousness of those involved in the action posted at http://www.europalestine.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWFl...) is an inspriation to us.
Best wishes from Newcastle, Australia.
